Book Dummies
My way of storytelling is what makes the work uniquely my own. In challenging and strengthening that skill, I've experimented with and completed two children's book dummies, written and illustrated by me.
Wonderfully Made
Words can make us happy, or make us laugh. Sometimes, when others are unkind, words can make us sad. Genevieve, a happy little lamb, experiences hurtful words during her day. In her frustration and sadness, she forgets that she is indeed wonderfully made, and learns that she is perfect just the way that she is.
Rita the Ring-Tailed Lemur
Rita knows that she is adored by her humans. She loves the special treatment, but her life is rudely interrupted when her humans come back home with a surprise. Rita is not at all excited about this, but maybe it's not as bad as she thinks.
